The short version: we collect nothing.
OMEGA-Ω sets no cookies, uses no trackers, loads no third-party resources and has no accounts. The corrector, the dictation and the Hangman run entirely in your browser. That's why there's no "cookie" banner: we don't have any.
What stays on your device
To be useful, the site remembers a few settings locally (in your browser's localStorage): your readable font & theme if you set them, the tool state (the text you're working on) and your progress in the dictation. It never leaves your device, it is sent to no one, and you can erase all of it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
What does not happen
- No cookies — neither ours nor third-party.
- No analytics — no Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, or any other.
- No advertising trackers, no spying social-media buttons.
- No request to a third-party server on load: fonts, icons and code are served from the site itself (links to GitHub or the source lexicons only fire if you click them).
- No account, no e-mail asked for.
Everything runs offline
The corrector, the dictation and the Hangman all run on your device — no text, no answer, nothing you type is ever sent anywhere. The dictation uses your browser's built-in speech synthesis to read a word aloud; that stays local too, and nothing you type is transmitted. (The French site also offers voice input, which — being opt-in — is the one feature that sends audio to the browser's speech service; it is not part of the English site.)
